BOOKING AN ACTIVITY
All activities booked through the website must be paid for at time of booking. All payments must be made in advance of the session. We accept cards via the website and in person. We cannot currently accept Cash payments because of covid-19 restrictions.
Room bookings can be requested by email to info@outsideeducation.co.uk. A non-refundable 25% deposit is required to confirm the booking, with the remaining 75% being due by the booking date or another date as agreed between you and Outside Education.
We reserve the right to alter the advertised schedule of activities, which may include cancellation of an activity.
All advertised programmes require a minimum number of bookings to be placed on each course. Where this number is not reached, we may choose to cancel the course. Where we cancel a course, individuals with confirmed bookings on that course will be offered alternative dates. If none can be provided then a full refund will be given. If we need to cancel a course then 14 days’ notice will be provided.
We reserve the right to alter or amend the advertised content of any course without notice in order to continuously provide a high quality service or due to circumstances beyond our control.
We reserve the right to change the venue from that originally advertised by providing 14 days’ notice.
We will not be liable for any losses or expenses, including consequential damages, arising from any such alterations or amendments to the programme content and schedule including cancellation.
COVID PRECAUTIONS
You confirm that none of your party will attend the booked session if you develop symptoms of covid-19 or if you are told to isolate because of contact with someone who has a confirmed or suspected case.
Parent/guardians should not remain on site during the session except by prior arrangement and where appropriate accommodations can be made.
LIABILITY, RESPONSIBILITY AND INSURANCE
For sessions with parental involvement, such as Music Time and Lingotot Spanish, the attending adult is responsible for the children in their care. Parent/guardians should not remain in the learning space for standard classes unless a child requires temporary emotional support. We bear responsibility for the safeguarding and wellbeing of our students while their parent/guardian is not on the premises.
Where a student requires classroom support we can provide a support assistant. See pricing for details.
Where a student receives classroom support from a parent/guardian or personal assistant the supervising adult must hold a current DBS certificate and liability insurance. The supervising adult will be responsible for the safety and wellbeing of the child and must follow the guidance of the class teacher regarding lesson content and behaviour.
While our goal is to be fully inclusive, we do not yet have the facilities or staff to support complex needs and reserve the right to refuse admission to a child if we feel that they or their supervising adult pose a risk to themselves or others.
ACCEPTABLE USE OF FACILITIES
In placing a booking for a face-to-face activity you agree to abide by our Acceptable Use Policy relating to the use of our facilities. This policy requires the following:
